LiveJournal has been under a DDOS attack/really flaky this week. I know because I keep getting emails LJ for WebOS users. Sorry, everyone!

I am in agreement that the Reddit comment thread about big butts is the best comment thread in the history of Reddit, at least for as long as I have been browsing the site (~ 1 year).

I've often thought about giving pre-packaged food, e.g. granola bars, to panhandlers. But I've never actually done it.

Almost four years ago I had an encounter with a beggar that left me mildly uncomfortable.
