As a child. I remember thinking that when characters on a TV show had to kiss, the director probably tried to cast the two actors as family members so kissing wouldn't be too awkward.
I was kinda dumb as a child :-)

Remember whenever people kissed on TV, we would all go "mush mush! mush mush!" so you would know to look away? heh. good times.

FWIW, Kirk Cameron insists on any on-screen kisses being with his wife. They bring her in just for such scenes (if there's another actress playing his love interest).

My parents asked me and my cousin to be godparents to my sister (who is 7 years younger than me). For several years, I thought that meant that when I grew up I would have to marry my cousin. Which was fine with me because we got along well. *shrug*
Now that I'm older....that was a really strange thing to think!
