On our trip to Maine, I saw this neato map of Austin tech companies in the Austin airport. You can see the real thing here.

In Old Orchard Beach, ME there were some neat shops - here wa a particularly nice games and puzzles shop. You can tell from the Canadian flag that a lot of Quebecois vacation here :-)

Down by the beach, there was a carnival-like thing. We didn't ride the rides but returned later for what was supposedly the "best skee-ball in the Northeast" and a rousing game of Deal or No Deal.

The beach proper! Apparently it goes on for seven miles, which I'd believe given how much we saw.

We bought nearly three pounds of Jelly Bellys at a local candy shop. Although we look happy at the time, it was waaaaay too much. (the sun is bright which is why my eyes are closed...)

Apparently construction signs in Maine come with a leaf on the bottom. Which is awesome!

We had lobster at this place right on the shore, which was pretty good. It was foggy, as you can see, and so the foghorn of the lighthouse sounded frequently.
