 These formations are known as "soda straws" for obvious reasons.  They're also very fragile - nearby vibration can easily shatter them.

 This is the less traveled cave, and you can see the soda straws are very long - up to 9 feet!

 Looking down onto the crystal river.  This is the path the original explorers walked along - if you look closely you can see a few muddy footprints they left :-)
